	Emerald Commission
	Diamond Commission
	Diamond Plus Commission

In this issue we will be exploring the Diamond and Diamond Plus Commission.

PURPOSE OF THE DIAMOND AND DIAMOND PLUS COMMISSION:

The Diamond and Diamond Plus Commission is designed to be an incentive and a reward for ongoing, long-term business growth, which is demonstrated by sponsoring 21% Group Volume legs, and by the amount of qualified Annual Volume they generate.

CRITERIA FOR DIAMOND COMMISSION:

The Diamond Commission is paid annually to Platinums who:
	Personally or foster sponsor six or more 21% legs, each of which are at the 21% level for at least 6 months of a fiscal year.
	Amway determines all internationally sponsored qualified Annual volume and any personally sponsored IBO, stopping at any foster sponsored IBO, and then links it to the appropriate International Sponsor, and then pays a Diamond Commission to the international and the Foster line of sponsorship. All Diamond Commission recipients benefit from the expanded fund amounts.
	Each leg is not required to contain a qualified Platinum.

HOW DOES AMWAY DETERMINE WHAT PORTION OF THE FUND IS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO EACH QUALIFIER?
The following schedule is used to calculate the commission amount.

DIAMOND COMMISSION SCHEDULE

There are six steps in order to calculate the Diamond Commission amount and these are outlined below:
	Add the total yearly PV from a 21% leg (add all the qualified PV from all IBOs in that leg. Where traceable, all qualified international volume will be included and this is calculated by Amway in Ada.)
	Break this total PV value down into ranges and points according to the schedule above.
	Move to the next 21% leg and repeat this process starting at step 1.Repeat until the total number of points is determined for each leg.

	We then move to the next Diamond Commission recipient and start at step 1. This process is repeated until the total points of all recipients are calculated.
	The total available fund is then divided by the total points from all Diamond Commission qualifiers to obtain the value per point.
	The Diamond Commission is then determined by multiplying each recipient’s total points by the value per point.

DIAMOND PLUS COMMISSION

Criteria for Diamond Plus Commission:
The Diamond Plus Commission is paid annually to Platinums who:

	Personally or foster sponsor seven or more 21% legs, each of which are at the 21% level for at least 6 months of a fiscal year.
	Unlike Emerald and Diamond, internationally sponsored legs are not included in the calculation and payment of the Diamond Plus Commission
	Each leg is not required to contain a qualified Platinum.

HOW DOES AMWAY DETERMINE WHAT PORTION OF THE FUND IS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO EACH QUALIFIER?

The following schedule is used to calculate the commission amount.

DIAMOND PLUS COMMISSION SCHEDULE

There are eight steps in order to calculate the Diamond Plus Commission amount and these are outlined below:

	Determine the number. of qualified groups.
	Determine the number. of qualified groups.
	Determine the number of months that each group qualified at the 21% level.
	Multiply the unit value by the number of months that they qualified.
	Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each of the 21% legs.

The above process is applied to each of the Diamond Plus Commission recipient.

Once the total number of units from all Diamond Commission recipients has been determined, the total fund is then divided by the total number of units to obtain the value per point.

Lastly, calculate the Diamond Plus Commission by multiplying each recipient’s total units by the value per point or unit.
It is important to note that at the end of the fiscal year, Amway World Headquarters calculates all Annual Diamond and Diamond Plus Commissions for the entire world and notifies each of the Affiliates of the amount to pay each Diamond and Diamond Plus Commission Recipient in their country.
