FAQ 3. What is the definition of prestige beauty and cosmetics?
"Prestige" is used to define the upper end of the market. Criteria considered in the determination of prestige include:

• Science/Technology: prestige brands have a perceived superiority of ingredient quality and/or technology patents.

• Packaging: prestige brands feature more expensive and/or trendy packaging design.

• Training: prestige brands are associated with sophisticated and extensive sales staff education. Beauty and cosmetics are defined as the aggregate of :

• Facial skin care which constitutes facial moisturisers, anti-agers, toners, cleansers, masks, and lip moisturisers; and.
• Colour cosmetics which include: facial makeup, eye makeup, lip colour products, and nail colour.

Unfortunately, we can't release it due to the sensitivity and confidentiality of the data.

FAQ 6. How do I know that the claim is valid?
Amway commissioned a third party research agency (Euromonitor Consultancy) to conduct the research. The agency develops the research methodology, collects the data and presents the results to Amway.

FAQ 7. Who is Euromonitor?
Euromonitor is an international research organization with offices in London, Chicago, Shanghai, Singapore, Vilnius and research associates worldwide.

FAQ 8. Are the Artistry products Cosmoceutical?
Cosmoceutical is defined as "a cosmetic with active pharmaceutical ingredients" Artistry makes no pharmaceutical claims and is therefore classified as a cosmetic. The term "cosmoceutical" is frowned upon by the Health Department, and unless a product is an actual medicine, and as such has been subjected to extensive double blind clinical trials as are all medicines, then the term cannot be legally used.

FAQ 9. Is Artistry made from 100% natural products?
Artistry uses a combination of both natural and synthetic ingredients. 100% natural ingredients do not ensure a better product.

FAQ 10. Does Artistry practice animal testing
We oppose animal testing and our products are not tested on animals unless required by government regulations. We actively lead initiatives to create alternatives to required animal tests.

FAQ 11. Why are preservatives used in cosmetics?
Preservatives may be used in cosmetics to protect them against microbial growth, both to protect consumers and to maintain product integrity.
