April GOLD ACHIEVER LEVEL

Michael and Melany Green began building their Amway business in March 2006. The decision to get involved was taken over a period of two years, and looking back, they are grateful to their sponsors for their support during this time. Melany says, “The motivation to build our business came with the realisation that we needed to do something special to create a different kind of income. “

For the Greens, reaching gold is the first of many milestones, and a huge encouragement on their journey. They are happy to have ‘Amway’ as one of their family members and to be part of the Amway family! They have set their goals is on reaching higher levels during the next 12 to 14 months. “We believe there is nothing that can compete with this business opportunity. It’s not just about the money - it’s about the ethics and moral values that Amway represents,” declares the Greens.

Martin and Noleen started their Amway business more than two and a half years ago; and would like to take this opportunity to thank Amway. Success means that Noleen is now able to spend more time with their first-born son Reuben. As success breeds success, they are still working hard to reach their dream of being financially free.

Through reaching Gold, Martin and Noleen is proving to themselves that Amway is adaptable; current, and that the Amway business opportunity makes the best business sense, regardless of economic times. Amway enables ambitious entrepreneurs to be successful in their own business without the stress-factor faced in setting up and running a traditional business. Martin and Noleen says: “We do not need to worry about staff issues, logistics, new partnerships and paying staff, as Amway handles all of that. The product ranges we have available through Amway are the best quality and we are proud to be associated with the company.”

Jillian and Karl Horat joined Amway Switzerland through a family member during 2000, and then joined Amway South Africa during February 2001. At first Jillian and Karl enjoyed using the products and they learned to respect the company through the quality products and the easy terms for returns. Jillian says: “I (thought) I did not have enough time to build such a business. I was not sure that I could manage it and if I could help others who would put their trust in me. By the time I finally made the commitment I believed in myself, I knew that I could work to benefit those who I introduce to the business opportunity, and that I could trust Amway as an organisation”.

The Horats further say that Amway is an amazing company and they are constantly astounded at how they manage to get everything done: paying the bonuses, the logistics, the 24-hour web access, the ongoing research, education and training!

Maycel and Carien Lubbe de Beer started their Amway business in November 2007. At first, they were attracted by the fact that they could run their Amway business on a part-time basis. Maycel and Carien say: “It was the opportunity of being able to supplement our monthly income; and build an asset that would provide a lifelong income, that attracted us to the Amway business opportunity”. As Amway was one of the first companies to produce environmentally-friendly products; it also gave Maycel and Carien the chance to add their support to consumers using sustainable products. They are proud to sell Amway products, not just because of its outstanding quality, but also because of its history and environmentally friendly aspects. As leaders, Maycel and Carien enjoy motivating and inspiring the other members in their team, and while they are working their way to achieve Platinum and Emerald in the next 12 to 14 months, they will support all their team members to achieve as much success as they themselves are enjoying.

Lynda Wilke would like all to share her success, not just through support and sharing the joy, but through motivating and enabling each and every IBO to reach Gold.

A member since September 2006, Lydia started building her business actively during April 2007. As a single mom of two, cash and spare time where strong motivators to build her business. Lynda is working towards reaching Platinum within the next fiscal year; and this success could allow her to say goodbye to her corporate job! Lydia has a lot of respect and belief in the systems within the Amway business opportunity as it is available to all.

She says: “ … no matter what your background is, your level of education, whether you are rich or poor, married or single, you don’t even need to be a special kind of personality – you just need to have the vision, work hard towards your goals and belief that Amway can work for you! If I can do it, anybody can…!”

The Shulte family has been involved in Amway since October 2007, but it was only during the beginning of 2008 that they started to build their business. Hans says: “Our first motivation to join was really a fascination with the water purification system. I had been researching water purity and the associated challenges with water, in relation to a traditional health and wellness business.”

Although the business opportunity was not their ‘real’ reason for joining Amway, Hans saw it as an opportunity to get access to the best water in the world! As a business man with his finger on the pulse, Hans realised that the financial plan and asset accumulation model presented an outstanding business opportunity. Amway also offers many other fantastic chances, such as meeting diverse people and forming lasting relationships. It also opens up the prospect to bury the alarm clock and say farewell to peak traffic!

As with many other team members, Adam and Lee was interested in the Amway business opportunity because of the promise of more time and more money. After working within the Amway business for a little more than a year, they are starting to reap the benefits of their commitment. Additional cash flow has enabled Adam and Lee to regain some of the precious family time they had to comprise while building their careers.

They are aware that gold is only the first step; and are working towards achieving Platinum and Emerald in the near future. Their success and vision for the future are shared with their daughters Kellyn (9) and Arin (6). Adam and Lee say: “With the help of our mentors, we’ve developed better skills for working with people. This has allowed us to cultivate effective relationships, both within and outside of the business. We have been able to forge meaningful, close friendships that will last a lifetime”.
