TIME DEFIANCE MOISTURISERS  

 
With exciting new technologies that focus on the importance of cellular communication, the next generation of ARTISTRY™ TIME DEFIANCE moisturisers is ready to premier. During April, Michelle Ashen (Amway Beauty Brand Manager) and Lana February from the Amway Training team, will be travelling around southern Africa to introduce a new treatment concept known as Derma Cell Exchange - a three-phase strategy for improving cellular communication. The largest organ of our bodies, the skin, is comprised of a network of hundreds of thousands of cells. The overall health of the skin depends on a continuous exchange of moisture and nutrients - the elements that allow individual skin cells to communicate. With the goal of going further in treating the effects of time and aging, ARTISTRY™ TIME DEFIANCE products advance skin care performance by nourishing the skin and naturally stimulating the communication between cells. 		 

 
The Derma Cell Exchange three-phase strategy achieves this goal, through the phases explained below.

Phase I: Stimulate
As our skin cells age, they lose their firm outlines, becoming lax and withdrawn, resulting in the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. By providing an essential blend of humectants, lipids and botanical, new TIME DEFIANCE moisturisers stimulate the cells, sparking them to restart the communication process.

Phase II: Connect
The network that connects our skin cells is also subject to the effects of time and ageing. When this matrix becomes limp and loses firmness and elasticity, the connections weaken and the network can fail. This phase uses two new patent-pending complexes to keep the network active and strengthen connections between cells for a continuous flow of communication.
  1. Derma 1 is included in the day moisturisers and helps protect the dermal structure from losing firmness and elasticity, thereby allowing efficient communication between cells.
  2. Derma 2 is included in the night moisturisers. It helps restore firmness and elasticity by increasing cellular energy and boosting the skin's natural rebuilding process while we rest.
Phase III: Protect
Phase 3 creates a comprehensive shield to help prevent outside elements from damaging the restored communication network in our skin. The generation of TIME DEFIANCE products includes two key groups of materials to provide this protection:
  1. Broad spectrum sunscreen protection is available in the day products and is the perfect complement to the patent-pending Defence Complex 4, which provides up to ten hours of continuous anti-oxidant protection to effectively fight free radical damage that leads to the visible signs of premature ageing.
  2. Defence Complex 4 includes ingredients selected for their ability to combat the four primary free radicals found in skin: Super Oxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydroxyl and Nitric Oxide.
The ingredients found in the new ARTISTRY TIME DEFIANCE moisturisers offer a unique blend of technologies to stimulate, connect and protect the skin, resulting in enhanced cellular communication and younger looking skin.
