News from John Gillespie SATINIQUE Spokesperson Internationally Renowned Stylist |

Today's hair accessories can take basic hairstyles to the next level with a simple snap, twist, or clip. We love the way a jewelled or flower barrette dresses up a chin-length bob for the evening. Longer locks go thoroughly modern with a headband positioned just one or two inches from the hairline, and one of our favourite looks is two or three textured elasticised bands wrapped around a deliberately unfussy, loose updo - fun, pretty and oh-so-relaxed. We offer plenty of easy accessorising ways to perk up your hair in a hurry! |

| Barrettes What could be easier or more attractive than finishing off a classic bun or ponytail with a decorative clip behind the ear? A barrette lends intrigue to the look when worn low, near where the bun or ponytail is secured. Best of all, everyone else can see it - while you almost forget it is there! |
Decorative
elastics Prevent hair damage by using nonmetal elastics to secure your back or side ponytail or bun. Then, add a touch of glamour with a jewelled or burnished-metal elastic band. Keep your ponytail or bun low on your head, to avoid that little girl look. |
Headbands Headbands go completely fashionwise when worn with an up-do. Elasticised fabric bands are better for thick, wavy hair, which requires more strength, because of its weight. If you have fine hair, choose a band with teeth so it stays put. |

| Making
growing out your bangs look great! Still short: cover those still-short bangs by combing longer hair over them. Prevent the short pieces from popping out with a spritz of Satinique Sculpting Spray Gel, and secure in place with a decorative bobby pin or lightweight barrette. That in-between stage: when your bangs reach eye level, tease them to lift forward the crown of your head, smooth them back and fasten with bobby pins. Mist with Satinique Final Step Finishing Spray. Almost grown out: when your bangs are about chin-length, it becomes easier to blend them with the rest of your hair. Use a wide fabric headband to hold back those few shorter Strands - and add an extra dash of fashion to your new look! |
