Dane Harley

Brooklyn, Pretoria

"Perhaps the biggest hurdle is making a true decision to risk standing out in the crowd and against all odds, get the job done!"

Dane Harley joined Amway three years ago. He has just completed his accounting degree, when he saw the business opportunity and he knew that this was his chance to create success and the lifestyle that he desires for himself. At first it was a hard road, he endured rejection and disappointment, but kept his goals in mind and persisted. Although it has taken him some time to get where he is today, he has learned to surround himself with winners. As Dane says, "Perhaps the biggest hurdle is making a true decision to risk standing out in a crowd and against all odds, get the job done!"

Reaching Platinum, means reaching another stepping stone (but it is also a major accomplishment for Dane) on his way to Diamond, because he knows with success comes freedom of choice and the opportunity to create the life that he is dreaming of. He is also looking forward to having fun, spoiling his mom and dad. "Whatever you can dream, you can achieve! Everyone starts on the same level and success is guaranteed, provided you get stuck in and have the guts to see it through! It gives the normal person the opportunity to enter the realms of the rich! It toughens you up and teaches you to fight for what you want in life - a vital skill," says Dane.

"My mom and dad are incredibly supportive. They have given me an amazing support base and structure that frees me up to get results done and pursue my dreams. I am an only child and wouldn't want it any other way. They have instilled strong values in me. My dad is a pillar of strength and my mom is the personification of passion and guts! We're very close and I'm going to have lots of fun spoiling them!"

Rupert & Sue Edwardes

Pietermaritzburg

Rupert and Sue Edwardes registered at the end of 2000, but only made a decision to actively build their business during 2006. Ultimately, they joined, when asking the question, "What if it actually works?" To the Edwardes family, Amway represents true free enterprise, because anyone with a dream, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and change can create the life that they want through the Amway business opportunity. Rupert is a director of a large law firm where he practices property law and Sue is an ex pre-primary teacher, who now loves being a full-time mum.

Laurika van der Westhuizen

Bloemfontein

Laurika joined the Amway business during December 2005 and never looked back! She is a medical doctor working in the undergraduate medical education field, but would like to travel more often and visit her grandchildren in America, whenever she wants to. She believes she needs to do something different, if she wants to create something different. Laurika says, "Most important is the opportunity to make a difference in peoples lives. I am truly thankful to Amway, the wonderful leadership, my mentors and a wonderful team."
