Robert & Cecile de Lange Secunda, Mpumalanga Specialist and Hairdresser "Nothing of significance was ever achieved by an individual acting alone. Look below the surface and you will find that all seemingly solo acts are really team efforts" Robert and Cecile de Lange joined the Amway business during November 2003 to generate some extra income. Since then, they have achieved success after success and have changed their personal circumstances drastically. Cecile use to work from eight o' clock in the morning until seven in the evening, managing her own hair salon and business. The greatest challenge was to start with the Amway business, while still busy with their full-time occupations, but the experience has brought them closer to the financial freedom they desire. Robert and Cecile have also found it worthwhile on a personal level, as they are helping others to achieve the same, with each step that they take towards the Amway goals of freedom, family, hope and reward they are enabling other IBOs to also achieve success. Robert and Cecile have used the Amway business opportunity as a vehicle to grow and make their dreams come true, and one of the things that stand out in their journey is that they could start their Amway business without investing a huge amount of money. They are enjoying the rewards within the business, especially the travelling and being able to see the world. Their immediate goals are to reach Emerald and to take their parents overseas with them. As a couple they are reaching out to dream many more dreams and make them all come true! |
John & Yvonne Lübbe Botswana Missionaries 'Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.' Chinese Proverb Until approximately three years ago John and Yvonne Lübbe had never been exposed to direct marketing. When this opportunity was presented to them they immediately felt that this could be an answer to the many folk struggling financially they had met in their ministry. They were also looking for ways to support the numerous projects of the Christian charity in Gaborone Botswana that they are heading up. As they joined the Amway business they soon realised that it would take some time and hard work to achieve the higher recognition, but Amway offers a reward system that allows them to plough back into the Charity. Soon a great team of IBOs emerged and together they saw a successful 2006. Having reached Platinum they are encouraged to take a further step and work towards Emerald. To them Amway is a unique business opportunity and it includes working with a company with integrity and value systems that they agree with. This gives them confidence that they will be able to enable more people to 'eat for a lifetime'. With a fantastic team and with their eldest daughter also achieving remarkable success as an independent business owner, John and Yvonne feel positive that during 2007 they will achieve higher levels. They are very thankful to those that introduced them to this unique business opportunity! |
Christopher & Joyce Mzileni Pretoria Nurse and Medical Doctor Joyce and Christopher have been in the business a number of years now, but they took ownership of the business only about two years ago. They felt that if it was to be successful, it was up to them. At first they started the business seeing the possibility of earning extra income and did not have lofty ideas and dreams! The Mzileni's main obstacle was, as they say: "... the six inches between our ears; because no one close to us had done what we were trying to do. Many people we talked to were sceptical. For things to change we had to change our thinking." Christopher and Joyce are excited to reach the Platinum recognition, and proud of their success. They can see exciting possibilities ahead and are planning to reach Emerald within the next 12 months, and they know that there is nothing that can stop them now! They will reach success after success. To them Amway is the best business opportunity because it delivers on its promises and the rewards can be phenomenal. They see the Amway business opportunity as the ultimate business for self actualisation and a platform where one can achieve significance, as a person and also in the lives of other people. Since joining Amway they have found a difference in their own lifestyle; and their outlook has improved positively. Christopher and Joyce are married with three children, and their family is supporting them in their Amway business, and are highly optimistic about the future and their success. | Ubukulu abubangwa (Xhosa: South Africa) One does not achieve greatness by claiming greatness Explanation: A man is judged by his actions, not his boasting. |
