Kobus is a Chartered Accountant in his own practice and Ruth was a
Management Consultant, but is now a full-time mom and business owner.
They have three children, Monique, Adolf and Lawrence.
Kobus and Ruth embraced the Amway Business Opportunity in March 2003.
The attraction of passive income within two to five years with a low
risk investment made them pursue the opportunity. Perhaps the biggest
hurdle that they have had to overcome whilst building the business
is truly understanding and believing that it is a "real, million
dollar" business with low risks even though it doesn't cost a
huge amount to set up. Their principle of taking one step at a time
whilst striving for success has enabled them to reach Emerald qualification.
Amway has provided the Hamilton family with more free time and travel
opportunities. Being a part of the ALTS in Orlando was a wonderful
experience for Kobus, Ruth and their ten year old son, Lawrence. As
a family, they love spending time together outdoors.
When asked what Amway represents to them, Kobus and Ruth answer excitedly,

Danie and Maryna actively started building their business in February
2004. The idea of retirement before the age of 60 had never crossed
their minds, but the Amway Business Plan made it very clear that this
opportunity is the only way to gain financial freedom.
Both Danie and Maryna are self employed in the Tourism Industry. Although
their business has allowed them to enjoy a good life, they were time-bankrupt.
Since joining the Amway family, their lives have changed significantly.
They have learned to prioritise their time and have gained valuable
business knowledge whilst working in a team. In addition, they have
experienced tremendous personal growth in terms of family values and
raising children in an environment where positive recognition plays
a fundamental role. Thanks to Amway, they are in the favourable position
to send their eldest son, Ian (14) to an excellent school where he
can pursue his sporting and academic talents.
Reaching Platinum represents a step closer to financial freedom; a
stepping stone closer to Emerald and Diamond.
