Rupert and Sue
Edwardes
Director of a large
law firm and full-time mom
Pietermaritzburg
The question, "What
if it actually works?" was Rupert and Sue's reason behind
building the Amway Business in 2006. Before this decision, Rupert
and Sue had been fortunate to lead a good life, but never had the
timefreedom to do the things that they really wanted to do. Perhaps
the biggest hurdle that they had to overcome in building the business
was, "focussing on achieving a GREAT life and not be robbed of
it by a good life," they explain. Sue, an ex-preprimary school
teacher now loves being a full-time mom to their two boys, Andrew
(8) and Rory (5). Even though their lives are much busier since joining
the Amway family, they understand that in order to ultimately achieve
time-freedom, they have to invest their time now.
Reaching Platinum proves to Rupert and Sue that they are moving ahead
and can achieve their dreams. Going Emerald is their next goal.
For them, Amway represents integrity, opportunity and excellence.
It is a "free" enterprise in the true sense of the word
as it allows anyone with a dream and a strong work ethic to create
the life they truly want. Their two boys are the reason behind building
this business. They love spending time together as a family, and it
is their dream to give their boys two full-time parents and to spend
stress-free time together as a couple. Their boys share their dream,
and they all look forward to the time when they can travel together
extensively .

Nick and Sam
Denoon-Stevens
Corporate trainer
and full-time IBO
Johannesburg
During the last
eighteen months, Nick and Sam have actively been building their Amway
Business. The credibility of the team, the sound, no-risk system coupled
with the attraction of financial freedom, was their motivation for
joining the Amway family. With two professional incomes, Nick and
Sam enjoyed a good life, but without the lifestyle they wished for.
When Sam fell pregnant with their first child, they reviewed their
options and Amway was undoubtedly the best vehicle to replace Sam's
income and give her the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom.
Since joining the Amway family, both Nick and Sam have met wonderful
people and built ever-lasting friendships. In addition, the personal
development they have experienced has changed the way they interact
with business colleagues and family members. When asked what reaching
Platinum symbolises to them, Nick and Sam answer excitedly, "We
are that much closer to achieving our dream of financial freedom and
both becoming full-time parents". They are creating the future
they dream of for them, their son and future siblings.
An Executive Platinum qualification within the next year is where
Nick and Sam want to be. |

Bafana and Staff
Sithole
Council chief whip:
Local government and chief executive officer
Johannesburg
Bafana and Staff
regard the Amway Business Opportunity as a platform for their economic
liberation and the means to create a sustainable income for their
children. The fundamentals of the business were too good to resist
eighteen months ago when Bafana and Staff decided to embrace the opportunity.
Leveraging the buying power of households with quality products, working
with a team of entrepreneurs to build sustainable income streams and
being associated with such a reputable company that offers a 90 day
satisfaction guarantee, were just some of the attractions of the business
model.
The Amway business has contributed greatly to their personal development.
Firstly, it has provided them with the opportunity to engage with
extraordinary leadership and business partners. Secondly, both Bafana
and Staff have gained a wealth of knowledge through the power of the
collective, and thirdly, it has given them the opportunity to increase
their financial stability through the creation of a business in which
all family members are involved.
Bafana and Staff believe that reaching Platinum confirms the predictability
of the business model. It has increased their belief in the business
and will increase their penetration and success level in the market
because people will see that it is possible to achieve this level
within a short space of time.
Executive Platinum followed by Emerald qualification is their goal
for the next fourteen months. Their motto: "Work hard once and
live like a king and queen forever!"
