The edge you need to get the best shave of your life For most men, shaving is a necessary evil - an irritating, painful ritual that
they reluctantly face every day. Unaware of proper shaving techniques, their
faces often serve as a billboard - complete with bumps, cuts, rashes, or in-grown
hairs - telling the whole world that they have not yet perfected the art of shaving. |

The good news? You do not have to settle for anything less than a perfect shave.
The secret is correct shaving techniques along with TOLSOM™ shaving products.
Together, they offer the edge you need to get the best shave of your life. High
performance shaving products like TOLSOM Shave Gel and After Shave Splash are
essential allies in the battle for the perfect shave. But the real secret to
smoother, easier shaves is TOLSOM Skin Smoothing Gel. Why? Because it speeds
up exfoliation of the skin's top layers, revealing the younger, smoother
skin lying underneath. And when skin is smooth, the razor is less likely to drag
or pull, causing irritation and cuts. Using TOLSOM Skin Smoothing Gel daily and
following these common sense shaving tips will help you get a perfect, pain-free
shave, every day. |

Tips for the perfect shave. Always shave in the shower or immediately
after showering. Steam is essential for opening the pores, which
causes whiskers to rise. Remember, shaving without washing first
can trap dirt and grime in the pores, leading to bumps and blemishes.
The first pass. Your razor's first pass should always be in the direction
of the stubble growth. This releases whiskers from their pores and
prevents in-grown hairs. The neck should be shaved last - this gives
the TOLSOM Shave Gel extra time to soften and relax the thicker stubble.
Always use long, even strokes and be sure to rinse the blade often.
The second pass. This is essentially another shave. Now - and only
now - you can shave against the grain. But be sure that you apply
light pressure on the second pass to avoid unnecessary skin irritation.
Aftershave care. Even when done properly, shaving is a traumatic
experience for the skin. So be gentle. And always follow your shave
with a good moisturizer. Remember, moisturizers are a must for calming
the skin and locking-in moisture.
