Bonny & Bingo Matshediso

Mining Engineer and Teacher
Botswana

"Pay the price to get the prize."

Bonny saw the Amway business plan several years ago and was motivated by the opportunity to be financially free and to 'buy' some time back into their lives. Bingo was happy to join him in pursuit of this dream. They were excited that they could build the business together. Bonny has a doctorate in mining engineering and is currently a senior lecturer at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and Bingo is a high school teacher in Gaborone. They liked the fact that they could build the business in Botswana and South Africa and ultimately, overseas.

The Amway business endorsed Bonny and Bingo's conviction that in order to get what they wish for themselves, they would need to help enough other people to also get what they want. The Matshediso's were also impressed with the fact that the Amway opportunity was available to people from all walks of life.

To them Amway represents an equal opportunity business because anyone with a dream, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn can join this venture and create the life they want. For Bonny and Bingo reaching the Platinum level is a stepping stone to the next level… and beyond. They have now set their sights firmly on the Emerald pin.

Bonny and Bingo realise that with success in this business comes the freedom to provide more support to their church, in terms of time and finances, and it also means they can spend quality time with loved ones. Reaching the Platinum level in the business has given them confidence that they can help others in their team to reach higher levels. The integrity and impeccable ethics offered by the Amway Corporation have reinforced their commitment to taking the business to the next level.

Pieter & Verena Mostert

Architect and Business Owner
Windhoek, Namibia

Pieter and Verena Mostert joined Amway two years ago and were impressed with the excellent business choices offered through the Amway opportunity, especially the longterm benefits of the business.

The Mosterts saw the Amway opportunity as one that could change their lifestyle, not just in terms of being free of debt, but also in terms of having more time to do the things that really matters to them. They are working towards fulfilling their desire to break away from the everyday seven to five regimen, and have a meaningful life. As they say, "Time management is of the essence, as during our everyday lives, we are busy with a lot of non-essential things, and we start to believe that all of this matters".

Achieving Platinum for Pieter and Verena is a testimony of being on the road to reaching for the highest achievement, with each pin a stepping stone to the next.

At the moment they are mapping out the steps to achieving Emerald. Their ultimate goal is to be independent from the corporate world; as they are aware of the fact that the conventional way of thinking sets one up for debt and a 40-year rat race. The Amway business opportunity brings about freedom of choice and a lifestyle that affords them the time to invest in their dreams and an independent future.

At this time Pieter is still a full-time architect and Verena, who owned her own business, is now a full-time Amway IBO.
They are also setting their sites on creating the ultimate lifestyle for when they are going to start a family, as they are planning to be in a position to raise their children, being available 24/7.

They are enjoying their journey to success, sharing their success with their loved ones.

Amen & Rosetta Xaba

Engineer and Chartered Accountant
Centurion, Pretoria.

"Being consistently consistent"

Amen and Rosetta joined Amway during April 2005, and at this stage of their lives, they still held the belief that 'only the chosen few gets to live a life of significance'. The Amway business opportunity filled their lives with new possibilities and choices; and their new perception of what could be possible, changed everything for them.

Achieving success has brought about the knowledge that on this road they can achieve a perfect balance between time and money; and ultimately move out of the rat race. As with many professionals, their careers take up a lot of their time, and this also means time away from their children and immediate family.

The business system gave them the opportunity to start with a low volume and the opportunity to commit part-time; enabling them to build towards a full-time business. Starting the business has also afforded them to work towards more free time and spending time with loved ones. Once they have set the goal for themselves, it changed their everyday existence into a purposeful experience, as it is allowing them to do things, as they put it, 'out of the box'. Amen and Rosetta say, "It levels the playground for everyone who works in the business. It has an excellent training and mentoring system. We have business mentors who want to see us achieve the same success levels they have achieved." Amen and Rosetta have two children, Sibs (17) and Thandeka (15). As the Xabas testify, "The business has influenced our children positively. The education system used in this business has inspired them to have a positive outlook on life and to set bigger dreams for themselves."
