honour roll

Wynand and Marina were introduced to the Amway business through Wynand’s brother, who has achieved Emerald status. They had both started specialising in a medical field but realised that this was not the lifestyle they wanted. Although it was not an easy decision to focus their energies on building their Amway business instead of practising medicine, they have no regrets about their choice.

Working towards their dreams and working together as a couple has already been more rewarding than they could ever imagine.

Marina is now a full-time mother to their six-month-old son and Wynand practices medicine part-time. They especially enjoy the travel opportunities presented by the business, the association with like-minded, positive people and the tremedous opportunities the business are giving them to help others.

As Wynand and Marina says, “The business provides us with experiences and opportunities which enriches us far more than financial success alone. We know that when we look back on our lives one day, we will be grateful for having taken the ‘road less travelled’.”

When Gerhard and Elzette van der Westhuizen returned from their honeymoon in 2000, a friend invited them to take up a business opportunity in Amway. At this point Gerhard was a business owner and Elzette a teacher. They were not really looking for anything else – however, they trusted their friend enough to give the offer some serious consideration.

Gerhardus and Elzette says that they, through the Amway opportunity, which is supported by an incredibly great business system, the support they receive from their team on an ongoing basis, have reached a stage in their business, where they had more time and money.

The highlight for the van der Westhuizen’s has been the many wonderful friends they have met through Amway and the fabulous Leader’s Seminars they have attented. They regard their Ruby achievement as taking them one important step closer to achieving their next goal: achieving Emerald.
