Ruth & Kobus Hamilton Windhoek, Namibia Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant Kobus and Ruth embarked upon their Amway journey to success in March 2003. The attraction of financial freedom was their main motivation to joining the business. At the time, Kobus and Ruth were looking at various other business options, but Amway undoubtedly seemed "too good to be true" and they wanted to "test" it. In addition it provided such an opportunity that was possible by not having to leave Namibia. Amway has provided Kobus and Ruth with more free time and travel opportunities. Thanks to their success, Ruth is now able to consult on a part-time basis while Kobus enjoys being able to schedule his week as he wishes. Being a part of the ALTS in Orlando was a wonderful experience for Kobus, Ruth and their ten-year old son, Lawrence. Amway has also provided them with the means to travel and spend time with their other two children, Adolf and Monique, when they wish. Since joining the Amway family, the Hamilton's have formed a close group of friends whom they can help to reach their goals and aspirations. To witness the personal growth of their team members is a wonderful reward, Ruth and Kobus believe. Perhaps the biggest hurdle that Kobus and Ruth have had to overcome whilst building the business is truly understanding and believing that it is a "real, million dollar" business with low risks even though it doesn't cost a huge amount to set up. When asked what Amway represents to them, Kobus and Ruth answer excitedly, "It is the best business partner anyone could engage with!" They are proud to be associated with a company that provides all the necessary support systems for anyone to reach their dreams for themselves and their family. Excellent products complemented by Amway's professional customer service and integrity are further highlights that make Amway such a brilliant organization. |
Francois van Wyk & Marina Schoeman-van Wyk Brits, North West Group Financial Manager and full-time mom In 2002, Marina sold her business as she was looking for a new challenge. As she had never been exposed to network marketing, she was intrigued by the Amway business opportunity. The advantages of a no-risk, home-based business in which there is no ceiling to one's income certainly appealed to both Francois and Marina. Since building their Amway business, Francois and Marina proudly admit that their lives have changed in that they have started to dream again and set goals. Marina believes that dreams are the doorway to an authentic life; they set you apart from the rest of humanity. Setting up a successful business has been demanding, Francois and Marina admit. The challenges of building a house and enrolling their child in school this year were perhaps the biggest obstacles Francois and Marina have had to overcome. In addition, a problem on a personal level the week before achieving their goal was yet another challenge that they had to face in their quest for success. Thanks to their determination and tremendous support from the team, they pulled through and achieved their goal. Reaching Platinum represents a "point of no return" for the Van Wyk's. They believe that they have only arrived at "base camp" where the higher levels have now firmly come into their sight. Building a strong, structured business and developing leaders will surely pave their way to higher qualifications - a goal within the next year. Francois and Marina believe that there is no other similar business opportunity out there. Apart from the obvious financial rewards, learning to work in a team has contributed greatly to their personal development. And the fact that it is possible to realise your own goals whilst helping others makes the business that much more satisfying. | |||||||||||||||||
