We are both software developers. We live in Johannesburg. Since joining Amway we are still living average lives, but we have more hope. We have a son, Matthew who is now 13 years old. He is our biggest supporter and encourager. I would say we are an unconventional family and we think differently from most. Reaching this level is a step along the way to bigger things. This level has shown us we can do this and if we can, anybody can. Amway is the only company that offers people a chance to create a passive income and provides the support. This means that ordinary people like us have better options and more choices. Mauritius, here we come!

Initially attracted by the basic principals of the business plan, Dirk and Bets found that they could immediately associate with the people likewise involved with the Amway business. They took to the idea that they could for once become the beneficiaries of their own efforts instead of somebody else. They had previously owned three small businesses, which failed to grant them the desired peace of mind. Driven by this desire, they came to discover that Amway was interested in their wellbeing and allowed them the luxury of free time to spend with their growing family. Dirk and Bets have been involved with the Amway business for 16 months.
