Adrian Pentz

On seeing the Amway business opportunity in 1998 it was obvious to Adrian that it could work and made a lot of sense. At the time Adrian owned a cosmetic manufacturing company and the initial reason for starting the Amway business was to create a secure financial future for his family, the reasons have defi nitely changed and expanded.

The opportunity for self development and a sense of self worth have become very important. Certainly, reaching the Platinum level has had its challenges. Learning how to work with people, dealing with rejection and learning how to build teams have all been experiences that have taken Adrian out of his comfort zone, but have certainly been incredibly rewarding. It has also resulted in new and meaningful friendships with people who are working for each other and going in the same direction. Adrian is certainly not stopping here as far as the business is concerned. He believes that Emerald is a great place to be able to start spending more time travelling and will be working toward that qualification. The opportunity has opened up so many more possibilities and Adrian looks forward to being able to make those possibilities a reality.

Gary & Debbie Kayle

Sales and Marketing Director and Sales Specialist

Johannesburg

Gary and Debbie already enjoyed a good lifestyle before they started their Amway business because of the business they had already succeeded in building. Like all entrepreneurs on the go, they believed that they had to sacrifice their family time - until they caught the vision of what the Amway Business delivers.

They soon realised the value of partnering with the Amway Corporation when they finally understood that Amway takes responsibility for the delivery of all the day to day operations of conventional business. This business has created the space for Gary and Debbie to really dream big as time became a commodity that they owned.

The Kayles learnt that all they had to do now was focus on developing themselves as leaders in the business and create relationships with other likeminded entrepreneurs who are looking for the same things in life. In addition to their family, what they value is simple: to create pace for spirituality in their lives; to enjoy their dream assets; to travel the world in luxury and spend time working on being healthy, stress free, and wrinkle free too.

Adrian & Lynn Lane

Business owner and Manager and Buyer

Johannesburg

Adrian and Lynn were initially attracted to the Amway business through the possibility of earning residual income without investing a large amount of capital. The caliber of people in the business gave the business real credibility, a huge factor when going into any business venture.

Amway is very special to them, and they have realized over the last 16 months what a truly outstanding company Amway really is. Amway has delivered, as promised, on everything the company offers; from superb quality products, to phenomenal service delivery, to progressive and aggressive continuous improvement of the facilities and backup. For the Lanes, Amway has created the perfect tool in order to set up a lifestyle filled with the fruits of life, and allowing them to spend more family time together. What they love about Amway is that they never have to worry about all the day-to-day business issues like stock-holding, warehousing, debtors and creditors, bad debts, deliveries etc. So basically they get the perks the business has to offer whilst somebody else worries about all the details.

Jacob & Constance Momene

Language teacher and self-employed engineer

Botswana

Moving out of your couch and doing something with a hope of improving yourself and those matter most to you is a challenge as people are creatures of habit and routine - they hate change. Jacob was introduced to Amway business opportunity in 2003 and was looking for an opportunity to develop himself after failing to get a scholarship for further education. Constance was busy with part-time studies and supported Jacob to start an Amway business to access the personal development materials which came with the marketing plan. The business opportunity was not obvious to both of them. Attending meetings allowed Jacob to see the light at the end of the tunnel he then started to actively build his business.

Regular communication with the people who introduced them to the Amway business was their only life line in this business. The power of leadership developed in this business is tremendous as it builds people and helps them overcome their fears and go for their dreams.
