Justin and Lauren are the proud parents of a gorgeous little boy, Jared. As a result of their successful Amway business, they are in the fortunate position to be full-time parents, bringing Jared up with their values, surrounded by like-minded people. Being able to control their own diaries is a wonderful part of their life.

Independence, freedom, financial control and flexibility were Justin and Lauren's main reasons for building an Amway business. The ability to put their lives under their control without outside forces such as a boss, customers, interest rates and various other variables determining their future, was very appealing to them.

Whilst building the business, Justin and Lauren have had to learn to understand and lead people whilst getting used to working together. In striving for their goals, they have learnt that improvement does not depend on others; it comes from within.

Their Founders Emerald Qualification is just a stepping stone to higher qualifications. Although very proud and grateful to be Founders Emerald, Justin and Lauren are always growing and moving forward, helping others. They look forward to many more Emeralds in their business and a Diamond pin in the near future.

Anthony and Galetea's main reason for building the business is to create time and experiences with their three children, Danya (10), Detan (7) and Tal (3).

Anthony and Galetea embarked upon their journey to success ten years ago. Their trust in an incredible team of people who were committed to helping them achieve their goals was their motivation to starting the business. The opportunity to create an additional income stream, create leverage and travel as well as the fear of missing a great opportunity were further reasons for their decision.

The personal development that the business facilitates has changed Anthony and Galetea's thinking and relationships. Whilst building the business, they have had to develop a 'we will until' mentality, learning the importance of setting goals and perseverance.

Carol & Vincent Polden

In 1997, Carol was actively looking for a business opportunity and was actually in the process of negotiating the purchase of a franchise when she heard about Amway. The Amway business opportunity, with no risk and little capital requirements, made absolute sense to her and she immediately signed up. In 2000, Vincent joined her on their journey to success.

Amway has given both Carol and Vincent control over their lives. As two professionals with multiple degrees, Carol and Vincent were previously unable to make a living earning both time and money. Carol and Vincent now own their own company and lead a very different lifestyle, travelling and spending quality time together as a family.

Perhaps the biggest hurdle that Carol and Vincent had to overcome while building their successful and sustainable business was learning how to prioritise their time whilst simplifying their lives to make space for what mattered most in their lives: themselves and their family. The Amway business initially demanded a great deal of organising at both their office and home.

Their Emerald Qualification is proof of their association with winners. They value the excellent, inspirational leaders and mentors who have truly walked the talk and who have their best interests at heart. Within the next twelve to fourteen months, Carol and Vincent are focussing on 'creating a duplication machine that turns out winner upon winner'.


Arend & Mariana Brink

Three years ago, Arend and Mariana were absolutely time bankrupt. Arend was the Managing Director of an international consulting firm which was expanding internationally and this demanded extensive overseas travel. Mariana, on the other hand, was a Training and Development Manager for a region within a large corporate company. Due to their hectic lifestyles, their children unfortunately had very little quality time with their parents. It was only after Arend and Mariana saw how people were changing their lives through Amway that they realised that they could adopt a new lifestyle and have more time for their family through this opportunity.

Thanks to their Amway Business, Mariana was able to replace her income and resigned from her full-time job at the end of 2006 to be with their children on a full-time basis.

While their Sapphire qualification is very exciting for Arend and Mariana, it marks the beginning of a journey towards Emerald and Diamond. They believe that people deserve freedom and they would like to help as many other people as possible achieve it.
