LYNN GLENDINNING
GABARONE, BOTSWANA

Santa lives in Pretoria with her two-year old daughter. Santa is an information technology professional, and has been involved with the Amway business for eleven years. She was sponsored in Malaysia and returned to South Africa shortly after the market opened in 1997.

Santa says that through perseverance, she has reached this level in the business. Amway is a safety net for her. She sets her sights on quitting her 'safe, secure job' and pursuing her passion, which is nature and environmental issues.

She says that through Amway, she can grow at her own pace without taking large risks.

Lynn is a primary school teacher in Gaborone, Botswana, and has been actively building the business since September 2007. Lynn's parents and her three sisters are all involved with Amway and, as a result, they have been able to spend more time together as a family.

The Amway business has enabled Lynn to become financially independent. Furthermore, Lynn appreciates the challenge and the opportunity to keep growing and learning.

Lynn says that Amway is a company that believes in the power of people and positive thought, and that it encourages people to look beyond their immediate situations and set positive goals for the future.

Lynn believes that Amway is the best business opportunity, not only because it allows her to create financial options for herself, but because it brings her into contact with people who are motivated, hard-working, encouraging and have positive attitudes about life. She says that since launching her business, her life has become less pressured financially and she has been able to form amazing relationships with other people.

IAN & ALINA MASITE
BOTSWANA

Ian Masite has been involved in the Amway business since it was officially launched in Botswana. When Ian returned from Europe, he worked for just two weeks and then quit his job to start his own business. He said that the Amway business gave him confidence. He didn't have prior marketing experience, but has now learnt new skills in this field. He had to overcome hurdles of people not turning up for appointments and coping with unfulfilled promises.

Ian is building the business with his wife, Alina, and they have set their sights on Emerald level within the next 14 months. He says that Amway can build family, friends and relatives, and they have also met wonderful and successful people since joining the business. Ian says that it's a brilliant concept that can make dreams come true, and he can't wait to go on an overseas trip with other leaders!
